Top 10 Sexiest Divas of All Time
Who is the girl all the way on the bottom left?
This list is largely comprised of Attitude Era women…not surprisingly. Also, wrestling ability isn’t the main factor here, it is always a plus, but not the main reason they will appear on this list. My adolescent mind was shaped, by what I saw on my TV screen every Monday and Thursday night. For better or worse. Check out the list after the jump.
1.) Trish Stratus
I have professed my love for Trish before. Easily my favorite diva, she had both the sex appeal and the wrestling ability.
2.) Lita
A close second to Trish. Lita would always catch my attention. Her attitude, moonsault, and thong always set her apart.
3.) Rosa Mendes
The only current diva on this list. She is the sexiest women in WWE at the current time. If only she could get more TV time.
4.) Ashley Massaro
Remember her? The first Diva Search winner (that thing was terrible). She gave her real number out on TV which ultimately led to her winning. She feuded with Trish, did Playboy and faded away. Always loved her look.
5.) Stephanie McMahon
I always thought the bosses daughter was cute. She got sexier with age, and always played up her billion dollar princess gimmick perfectly.
6.) Stacy Keibler
Quite possibly the sexiest diva of all time. At least a close second to Trish. No matter what she was doing, she looked good. Legs for days and a killer booty. Also, this Stuff magazine shoot was a favorite around these parts.
7.) Miss Elizabeth
The greatest wrestling valet of all time. The very first truly good looking woman in WWE history. Not to mention she always had Randy close by.
8.) Mickie James
Mickie James’ debut as an obsessed Trish super fan and subsequent feud with her was awesome. One of the last great women’s feuds in WWE. It’s a shame that Mickie went out the way she did, she was a great worker and looked amazing as well.
9.) Maria Kanellis
Maria played the dumb blond perfectly in WWE. But, her best work has come in ROH, where she is Mike Bennett’s main squeeze. She adds to his character tremendously and makes him that much more hateable. Any one good enough for Bennett is good enough for me.
10.) Sunny
The very first “Diva.” Sunny was an excellent valet and was the first women in WWE history to play up her looks. It is a shame what has happened to her in the last few years. But we can always hang on to the good times with her and Chris Candido.
Honorable Mentions:
Sable
It is hard to do any list about Divas without mentioning Sable. The heir apparent to Sunny. She always had the looks, and her first Playboy set the stage for things to come in the Attitude era. I also fear getting an F5.
Torrie Wilson
Anybody remember Torrie’s feud with Sable? That kiss on Smackdown? And their Playboy issue? Never quite as good as the other blondes in WWE at the time (Trish and Stacy), but still great.
It is amazing to think about the gamut of women who have come through WWE, especially recently. But only a few truly stand out and get remembered, the rest seem to blend into the scenery and are just another pretty face. These women brought that, but also loads of personality and sometimes even wrestling ability, which is why we remember them to this day.
